DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 25th: Practicing the Examen\n\n\nFacilitated by Joann Caramanaco\nTime:  9:30-11:30 AM\nFee: $35 per person\n\n\n\nFor most of us\, it is easy to confuse “The Examen” prayer with the more traditional “Examen of Conscience.”  St. Ignatius of Loyola was passionate about “The Examen” and instructed his fellow Jesuits as to its importance.  “The Examen” is meant to be deeply relational rather than moralistic (as is often the association with the “Examen of Conscience”). \nSaint Ignatius teaches us in simple and practical ways how to recognize and turn to God throughout the moments of our day.  To raise our minds and hearts to God.  We will have time to both explore and practice this prayer together.  Let us consider the possibility of cultivating “The Examen” as a daily prayer practice in the new year.
